Alan "Mike"'s Story
Alan Michael Mike Moseley of Norman, passed away in a local hospital on Monday, May 7th, at the age of 70.
Mike was born on May 5, 1948, in Tyler, Texas, to Erby Jack and Mollie Allene (Pigott) Moseley. He graduated high school at Moore High School in Moore, Oklahoma. After high school Mike attended Central State University and he proudly served his country as a reservist in the United States Marine Corp. Mike owned and operated Vendor Services, a business that allowed him to put his building skills and eye for detail into displays for retailers like Ralph Lauren, Coach, and many other fashion designers. When he wasnt working, Mike enjoyed spending his time outdoors, restoring cars, reading, and gardening.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children; Jennifer Brown and her husband Paul of Edmond; sons, John Moseley and Joseph Moseley, each of Norman; grandchildren McKenzie Lawson, Kollin Moseley, Taylor Brown, Chloe Moseley, and Madison Brown; great grandchildren Caden Petties and Presley West; his brother, Matt Moseley and wife Nola, of Moore; a sister, Debbie Burress and husband Doyle of Coweta; his fiancé, Lorri Hughes, and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Mikes family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in Mikes name.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Walker Funeral Service, 201 E. 45th, in Shawnee.
